We are currently conducting confidential searches for the following positions:

 

Plastics Design and Process Engineer

Location: Eastern PA (Relocation assistance is available).

Competitive Salary Range

Position located at highly creative company, will be working on next generation of products.

Will be responsible for the $150MM plastic component sales volume which encompasses the processing, tool design, tool development, material rationalization and manufacture of plastic components at several different plants for the following processes: Extrusion, Co-Extrusion, Sintering, Injection Molding (tool design and process), Thermoforming, Blistering, Blow Molding new tooling/ equipment.
Will manage specific cost savings and efficiency improvement projects. Will be the key liaison between product design, packaging engineering, quality assurance and manufacturing. Will be expected to spend 30% in SUSTAINING activity, 40% in IMPROVEMENT activity and 30% in supporting NEW activity such as new products/ new technology. Report to Facilities Manager. Must be able to work out on plant floor in addition to doing CAD using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Requires BS Degree in Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science.

Extensive background in manufacturing machines and processes design, installation and commissioning of tooling and equipment. Experience in plastics tooling design and processing. Proficient use of AUTOCAD and Solid Works for design/ modification work.

 

Project Manager/ Injection Molding

Location: A very desirable area in SC (Relocation assistance is available).

Salary Range: $65K to $75K

Will be managing development project including costs, timing, and technical implementation for an Automotive Supplier. Will be a member of the customer team, coordinate change management, support continuous improvement and continuous cost reduction, and coordinate with the production team. Requires BS Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience. Tier 1 automotive background and injection molding experience. Prefer experience with Ford or GM: in dealing with their design engineers, dealing with their purchasing/ cost estimating department, and experience in their change management system. Also experience with the APQP process at either Ford or GM.


Process Engineer/ Blow Molding

Location: A very desirable area in SC (Relocation assistance is available).

Salary Range: $55K to $65K

Will monitor process on all blow molding machines, maintaining top quality of company products, continuing process improvement on all blow molding machines, improve machine efficiency, and utilization, and analyze customer process related issues. Training of all shifts technical personnel. Assist in supervising operators assigned to blow molding machines. Requires 5+ years blow molding experience in a molding and assembly manufacturing environment (prefer automotive).
